Speaking (New Page)

Dear Readers,

I have constructed a new page. A page for Speaking (MUET 800/2 Paper).  As you can see on top of this blog there are what we call tabs.  Tabs (or buttons) for "Home", "Syllabus", "Glossary" ... and of course "Speaking".  If you click on the "Speaking" tab you will be taken to the speaking page.  There you can see some Speaking 800/2 questions taken from the real past years' MUET  test papers.

From time to time I shall be adding more exam questions for you to browse through and practise  with.  You may get some ideas as to how the questions look like.  You can access the page by clicking the tab above or right HERE.

Extracted From Past Years' Speaking Papers: 

Here are some of the past years' MUET Speaking 800/2 examination "question" for your reference. It may be interesting for the readers to see how the questions look like. In case you would like to have a look and see how the situations are worded and what kinds of situations are given. I am using the word "situation" as the Speaking tasks instructions are made based on certain "situations" given.

There are two tasks: Task A and Task B.

Task A is individual presentation and Task B is group discussion.

You will be given two minutes to prepare for task A and two minutes for your presentation.

You will be given two minutes to prepare for task B and two minutes for the group discussion.

What do you think affects the reputation of a family? Give your view.

Task A:

You believe the behaviour of family members can affect the reputation of a family. Elaborate.

Cand. B:  Income levels of family members

Task B:  Which of the following is the most important factor that can affect the reputation of a family?

Cand. B:  Behaviour of family members

All The Best, MUET 19 November - Tomorrow

Tomorrow is Saturday, D-Day for MUET candidates!

I wish all MUET candidates who are sitting for the tests tomorrow (19 November 2011 - Saturday) all the best! The Reading paper (Reading 800/3) carries the most mark (120/300). If you manage to get all the answers correct then you are guaranteed a band two for your MUET results. Added with the marks from the other three papers you may get band 5 or 6.

Do Not Skip Any Paper!

If you skip any paper, any of the four papers, that means you're doomed. You skip one, you skip it (MUET) all! Bye-bye ... and you have to apply for the next round of MUET Tests and you will be poorer by RM100.00.

Those who could not care less about the exam although they have paid for it then it is such a sorry state of affair. Don't believe me? Yes, there are quite a few who are like that. Year in, year out. Don't be one of them.

MUET 2012 Registration Dates

Register Now!

Future candidates who want to take the MUET Test in March 2012 may do so now. The registration date is opened from the 1st-17th November 2011. Registration can begin now! You have 17 days to do so.

Online Registration

Get Your Pin Number

As usual you can go to the Bank Simpanan Nasional to get the PIN number for online registration using the MEC mode. With that PIN number you can make the registration through the internet.

Payment can be made through your bank account and also using a credit card.
